Catering Supervisor

Equans is looking for a Catering Supervisor to join our team in King's College London (KCL) Franklin Wilkins Building, Stamford Street, London SE1 9NH on a fixed term basis for 6 months, working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £30,075 per annum and benefits package.

Shift times: Mainly Monday - Friday with occasional weekend and/or evening work with typical shift patterns being either 07:30 - 16:30 or 09:30 - 18:30, or any times in between, rostered for 9 hours per day less a 1 hour unpaid break.

What will you deliver?

1. Ensure the smooth, effective & cost efficient running of the entire catering operation (Cafes, Cart, Restaurant, Hospitality), and any other associated areas, with your fellow supervisors, as one team, with a consistent one team approach.
2. Lead by example, complying with, and enforcing, all Equans & Kings Food policies & procedures.
3. Ensure all displays/counters are appropriately stocked within all catering areas, adequately staffed to meet the demands of the business, along with the management, supervision and allocating/delegating of tasks to the team, consistently throughout the day.

Who are we looking for?

• Must have catering experience
• Previous experience managing a team
• Knowledge of Health & Safety, IOSH certification is desirable
• Basic Food Hygiene trained (Level 2) with knowledge/understanding of HACCP.
