We are pleased to be recruiting a Commercial Finance Manager for a Highly Successful business in West London on an initial 6-month contract, with the possibility of a permanent role.

Our client is a fast-paced, global food manufacturing business. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the financial strategy, enhance commercial decision-making, and drive profitability across key business units.

You will collaborate closely with senior leadership, commercial teams, and operational departments to ensure financial processes are aligned with business goals, and you will play a pivotal role in supporting strategic decision-making that impacts business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee commercial financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting across key business units.
  • Provide financial analysis to support pricing strategies, margin improvement, and profitability analysis.
  • Lead month-end and year-end financial processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide financial insights to influence commercial and strategic decision-making.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across Commercial, Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations.
  • Support cost efficiency initiatives and drive profitability improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and company policies.
  • Contribute to system and process improvements, enhancing financial reporting and controls.

What are we looking for?

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in a commercial finance management role, ideally within FMCG, food manufacturing, or retail.
  • Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, with a focus on commercial decision-making.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and Excel.
  • Excellent communication, business partnering, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead a team, influence commercial decisions, and drive process improvements.

This is an initial 6-month contract with the potential to become permanent.
