About the Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Delivery Manager, this site-based position will develop and execute projects and tasks associated with the Enterprise Asset Solutions Portfolio on the SGF Site.

  • Execution of Civil tasks in line with client requirements.
  • Engagement with the client to develop and define the scope via constructability reviews.
  • Be visible in the workplace and lead by example demonstrating the standards set by the business.
  • Ensure that everyone within the delivery team is capable and competent to undertake the assigned task.
  • Offer guidance to allocated staff and direct assistance where necessary.
  • Plan work activities and resources to meet task requirements safely and effectively.
  • Challenge all unacceptable behaviours and ensure the team acts in a professional manner.
  • Converse with the Design team to meet all requirements of the specification.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience of working within nuclear establishments & following Nuclear Professionalism Standards & Expectations.
  • In-depth knowledge of the legislative, regulatory, quality, and environmental requirements relating to nuclear engineering projects.
  • Site-based on the SGF site.
  • Strong knowledge of Engineering working procedures and processes.
  • Understanding of the CDM Regulations 2015.
  • Competent using Autodesk software (Navisworks and CAD).
  • Competent setting out using Leica Software.
  • Minimum qualification of a HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

This means that you will need to have, or be able to obtain, Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance and either Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV) clearance. The security clearance process may require non-British nationals or dual nationals (i.e. those with British and another nationality) to be subject to additional evaluation, depending on nationalities held and the nature of the work to be carried out.
