Role: Electrical Building Services Engineer (Building Services)
Type: Full-time, Permanent, Hybrid.
Location: London.

We're looking for an Electrical Engineer in London!

About:
A multidisciplinary firm is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join their innovative team. Specialising in Civil, Structural, MEP, and Façade engineering, they are dedicated to delivering high-quality design consultancy within the built environment sector. Their approach is grounded in environmental integrity, economic viability, and practical engineering solutions, fostering collaborative problem-solving and efficient resource use.

The Role:
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will support a range of projects, ensuring the timely delivery of accurate project information. You'll act as a key liaison between engineering staff and the in-house modelling team, applying industry standards to meet client needs.

Technical Ability:

1. Commitment to continuous professional development
2. Strong knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles
3. Ability to produce accurate calculations and drawings
4. Deliver technical solutions aligned with client briefs
5. Develop cross-disciplinary awareness

Project Management:

1. Liaise with clients, architects, and design teams
2. Collaborate with internal engineering, environmental, and CAD teams
3. Ensure projects are completed within time and budget constraints
4. Provide regular updates to line managers and project managers

Client Relations:

1. Maintain effective communication with clients and architects
2. Provide feedback on client concerns and project issues
3. Foster positive relationships within the consultancy

Requirements:

1. Minimum of three years of engineering experience
2. Exposure to diverse project work across public and private sectors
3. Understanding of project management tools and deliverables
4. Collaborative team player
5. Strong report-writing and analytical skills
6. Familiarity with CAD standards and 3D modelling
7. Effective IT and engineering software skills
