We’re looking for an enthusiastic office-based HR Assistant to support our international HR team with daily operations, employee relations, and HR projects across EMEA with a focus on the UK. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop your HR skills and gain experience with all facets of HR administration.
Responsibilities
You will maintain and update HR systems for employee information and time management, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in data entries and deadline tracking
You will manage employee files by handling contract amendments, updating records for current and former employees, and ensuring data accuracy
You will be responsible for creating essential HR documents, such as employment contracts, certificates, and reports, while maintaining confidentiality
You will provide administrative support in the recruitment and onboarding processes, assisting with scheduling, document creation, and onboarding preparations
You will act as the first point of contact for candidates, shaping the candidate experience by arranging interviews and responding to candidate inquiries
You will handle sensitive employee information with care and ensure compliance with data protection regulations
You will collaborate with internal departments on HR-related needs to support smooth interdepartmental operations
You will schedule and monitor health and safety appointments for employees to ensure compliance with occupational health requirements
You will assist with HR projects and marketing initiatives under the guidance of HR Managers and Generalists, contributing to employee engagement and HR branding efforts
You will manage communication with external bodies such as health insurance providers, social security offices, tax authorities, and immigration offices as needed
This position is office-based in London
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar HR / administrative role
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
