Job description

You are a people-person and can maintain a good working environment. We require a compelling storyteller and a brilliant designer. You are willing to lead the development of concepts across strategy, copy and design, inspiring others to think laterally in order to evolve big ideas. You champion cutting-edge creativity and inspire teams to exceed current trends. You enjoy interacting, presenting, and workshopping with clients and have confidence in developing positive client relationships.

Responsibilities
  1. Take ownership of project outcomes, ensuring work gets delivered to a high standard, on time, and with a consciousness of commercial obligations.
  2. Build the creative culture within DS by looking for new ways to improve the way we work and develop as a studio.
  3. Develop new business by informing proposals and project plans.
  4. Maintain a high level of design craft and execute the creative vision of projects alongside CDs.
  5. Develop talent by hiring, training, reviewing, and managing the ongoing development of our creative team.
  6. Direct the marketing of work and case studies of projects.

Key Skills and Requirements
Experience

Experience delivering effective creative work and directing design teams to deliver brand projects for international clients. Most likely you'll have at least 8+ years of industry experience.

Leadership

You’re a natural collaborator and a proven leader. You are at ease leading multidisciplinary teams and can bring energy and enthusiasm to all stages of the creative process. Able to guide clients through stakeholder engagement and/or cultural change. Comfortable working as a team and confident taking part in interviews, workshops, and interactions with clients.

Flexibility

Able to juggle several tasks with ease, prioritise work-streams, and delegate tasks effectively with strong organisational skills.

Master Toolkit

Master of your discipline, with a hunger to go beyond, discovering new tools and developing your own. Full of high-quality work that demonstrates conceptual, crafted, and unique work. Your portfolio should inspire and show versatility, experimentation, system-thinking, and energy, and your work should include significant brand and digital projects that have been recognised within the industry. Awards are a bonus.

Outstanding Facilitator

Confident running interviews, workshops, and interactions with senior C-suite clients, enabling creative leaps and breakthrough political impasses.

Commercially Savvy

Able to design and build a vision for a project with a view to growing long-term client relationships.

Confident working across any industry, with any person, anywhere in the world.
