Garden Labourer / Gardener

Job Description

We are looking for an additional team member to help us look after and manage our clients' gardens. We have over 100+ gardens and estates we manage and maintain within the West Wiltshire District. We are also award-winning garden designers and provide complete garden designs and makeovers for our clients.

Duties include:

1. General garden maintenance such as mowing lawns, weeding, cutting hedges, and pruning shrubs.
2. Building raised beds, laying membrane and gravel, and extensive planting schemes.
3. Manual labour tasks including moving soil and timber, garden clearance, and general labouring supporting the trained gardeners or working independently.

Qualifications:

• Driving licence and ability to get to and from work sites (essential).
• RHS training or equivalent to RHS Level 2 or 3 desirable or equivalent experience in horticulture/garden maintenance or landscape labouring.
• Must be physically fit and healthy, as this is a very physical, labour-intensive job, and we work in all weathers all year round.
• Above all, the right attitude and work ethic are required.

Job Types: Permanent, Part-time, Full-time

Salary: £12.50 - £13 per hour

Expected hours: 30-37.5 per week
