Job Title: Assistant Planner/ Planner
Location: Chelmsford

About the Role:
Due to continued business growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Planner or Planner to join a forward-thinking and dynamic team in Chelmsford / Saffron Walden. This is a fantastic chance to work on a wide variety of projects, acting for landowners, developers, promoters, and the public sector. You will be involved in completing planning applications and contributing to local plan promotions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assisting in the preparation and submission of planning applications.
2. Contributing to local plan promotions.
3. Working with a variety of stakeholders, including landowners, developers, and the public sector.
4. Developing a strong understanding of planning policies and regulations.
5. Supporting senior planners in delivering high-quality planning solutions.

The Ideal Candidate:

1. Working towards or already holding MRTPI status.
2. Relevant experience within planning or a related field.
3. Strong communication and organisational skills.
4. A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
5. Passionate about planning and looking to develop your career in a supportive environment.
