Working Pattern: Full Time (4on4 off: 7am- 7pm, 7pm- 7am)

Our client, a leading manufacturing organisation in the Melton Mowbray area, is currently seeking a Forklift Truck Driver to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a reputable company in the manufacturing industry. Someone with forklift truck experience would be desirable.

Duties include:

• Driving Counterbalance FLT
• Unloading pallets of raw meat from lorries
• Loading into mixers
• Basic machine operating
• Using power washers to maintain hygiene standards
• Feeding materials onto production lines
• Carrying out quality checks and completing associated paperwork
• Working as part of a team, ensuring that all standards and housekeeping are maintained
• Some manual handling may be required

Experience required: You must hold a current FLT licence, although you will be required to undertake and pass an FLT assessment.

Responsibilities:

• Manufacture prepared pet food products through the operation and control of the production process
• Contribute to the execution of the shift production plan
• Ensure the quality of products meets the brand specifications
• Identify and escalate quality and process issues

Requirements:

• GCSE level in English and Maths at Grade C or above or equivalent
• Good team player with a flexible approach
• Excellent communication skills
• Good level of manual dexterity
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience on FLT trucks

This role offers a competitive hourly rate of 13.25 and follows a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (7am- 7pm, 7pm- 7am).
