More than 75,000 young people in the UK need a wheelchair to be mobile. Whizz Kidz provides wheelchairs, equipment, support, and confidence-building experiences, while also campaigning for a more inclusive society. Sadly, many young people don’t receive the wheelchair or support that fully meets their needs and without the right equipment are unable to socialise and participate in society. Whizz Kidz's mission is to empower young wheelchair users, helping them to become independent and able to engage with the world around them.
The Director of Fundraising & Communications will lead a talented team, overseeing all income streams and the stewardship of key supporters whilst developing and implementing a robust strategy.
