FLT Driver

We are currently looking for a FLT Driver to join a renowned manufacturing business on a temporary to permanent basis based in Birtley. The FLT Driver is required for Day shift 8:30am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday. The rate of pay is £11.44 per hour. The successful candidate must be happy working outdoors. The role is working outside in the yard, involves heavy lifting and use of initiative when loading the trailers.

FLT Role and Requirements

1. Operation of a counterbalance for transporting products within the yard area
2. Transporting products within the designated area with a counter-balance forklift truck
3. Loading and unloading wagons of a counter-balance forklift truck
4. Labelling and shrink wrapping pallets when required
5. Manually lifting products and placing materials within the warehouse
6. Scanning items in and out of the warehouse with stock control systems
7. Must have a valid counterbalance forklift truck licence either in house or recognised
8. Be able to work both individually and in a team
9. Should be able to start almost immediately
10. Comfortable working on both days and nights rotations
