Site Engineer - Earthworks & Heavy Civils

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a 6-8 month contract on a major earthworks and heavy civils scheme. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale project with a reputable contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Setting out and surveying for earthworks and heavy civils activities
2. Ensuring works are carried out to specification, on time, and within budget
3. Managing quality control and ensuring compliance with design and safety standards
4. Providing technical support to site teams and liaising with project managers
5. Conducting site inspections and resolving technical issues

Requirements:

1. Proven experience in site engineering for earthworks and heavy civils projects
2. Proficiency with setting out equipment (GPS, total station, laser levels)
3. Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations
4. Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or related field
5. CSCS card and relevant site certifications preferred

Duration & Rate:

1. Contract length: 6-8 months
2. Rate: Negotiable, depending on experience
