Job description

A highly regarded multi-service Chester based Law Firm are currently looking to recruit an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to support a friendly and supportive property team.


This role would suit someone who is coming from a legal administration or legal secretarial background ideally with conveyancing experience.


Hours: Full time office based Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm
Location: Chester City Centre


Role:
  1. Liaising with clients and third parties
  2. Responsible for chasing various documentation, ID, mortgage offers and searches
  3. Prepare required documentation as needed with the conveyancing process
  4. Prepare the completion packs for the accounts department, to include completion statements and invoices
  5. Deal with post exchange matters as directed by your team manager
  6. Be responsible for completions on the day of completion
  7. General administration support
