Senior Management Accountant

c.£45,000 (some flex)

We are working with a growing PE backed manufacturing company based in Stroud. They are looking to add a permanent Senior Management Accountant to their close-knit finance team. The role offers a real opportunity to make your mark within the business. This is an office-based position, but there is the possibility of hybrid working after the initial probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Calculation of monthly KPIs such as: material/labour/overheads/efficiency etc.
• Preparation of MI packs for SMT
• Inventory control
• VAT returns
• Ad-hoc duties as required by SMT.

Qualifications

We are looking for a newly or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA (or equivalent) accountant coming from a manufacturing background. We will also welcome candidates who are Qualified by Experience. You will also need to have confident Excel and systems knowledge. To be successful in this role, you need to be within a comfortable commuting distance to Stroud, Gloucestershire.
