Job description

The Omorovicza journey begins over 2,000 years ago, when the healing properties of Hungary’s thermal waters were discovered, and the first thermal baths were built.

The secret to why Hungarian thermal waters have such remarkable healing properties lies in the unique geological features of the region. Here the earth’s crust is thinner, so waters absorb beneficial minerals more effectively as they journey to the surface.

Miraculous healings led to the building of 1,000 thermal baths in Hungary, 100 in Budapest alone.

It was in Budapest, in the 1800’s, that the Omorovicza family built a beautiful thermal bath the Rácz Fürdo, on the site of an Ottoman bath, itself built in the 1560s on a medieval healing spring renowned for its curative properties.

And it was at the Rácz that Stephen and Margaret de Heinrich de Omorovicza first observed the revitalising effect of the healing waters on their skin.

PURPOSE OF ROLE: Driving and delivering sales across our three sites (US, UK & EMEA).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Manage activities which support revenue and customer file growth on omorovicza.com (acquisition and retention).
  2. Support the sales forecasting and budget process.
  3. Manage stock and inventory planning (products / samples / GWPs).
  4. Management of the products and merchandising for e-commerce.
  5. Ensure key local e-commerce activations are planned in a timely manner. Management of the content and promotions for e-commerce.
  6. Ensure messages are aligned with the Digital plan, as well as the wider business activations (collaborate with Marketing and Editorial).
  7. Ensure sites provide the best user journey (think local) to the customers maximising engagement and conversion.
  8. Deliver regular sales reporting as well as ad-hoc analysis.
  9. Managing Customer Service (1 person): lead weekly calls, align on goals and priorities. Assist with day-to-day technical issues and ensure queries are addressed smoothly and effectively to the highest standards.
  10. Support technical updates for e-commerce.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  1. E-Commerce trading or optimisation experience, ideally for skincare, beauty, fashion and/or lifestyle brand.
  2. Experience on the ShopifyPlus platform required.
  3. Comfortable working in a business which drives trade and revenue growth through data, insights, and optimization – not with promotions and discounting.
  4. Proficiency with data visualisation tools for the purposes of analysing large data sets.
  5. Demonstratable hard skills in e-commerce analysis as well as sales and demand planning.
  6. Experience in dealing with ERP (Business Central) a real plus.
  7. International experience or perspective including a high degree of comfort driving business growth in the United States of America.
