Job description

Our client is a developer of residential-led mixed use schemes, with a passion for creating successful, sustainable places where people aspire to live. Looking for a Technical Coordinator and Senior Technical Coordinator.


A successful incumbent will be responsible for the following:

  1. Providing back up to the Technical Manager / Senior Technical Manager on project running activities.
  2. Checking all consultant's drawings and documents relevant to the packages you are working on. Providing comments on behalf of the company.
  3. Issuing drawings and information for tendering and construction purposes ensuring all information is up to date and to the correct revisions.
  4. Ensuring enquiries and applications go to statutory service companies and local authorities.
  5. Liaise with architects, engineers (all consultants) and sub-contractors for information.
  6. Dealing with site queries and checking conveyance plans.
  7. Checking brochure plans and other marketing collateral.
  8. Internal liaison with land and planning, surveyors, construction, commercial and sales departments.
  9. Collating and maintaining the Technical Specifications.
  10. Attending and minute Design Team Meetings and workshops.
  11. Producing and maintaining Technical Sales Specification.
  12. Providing sustainability information to the Sustainability Manager.
  13. Carrying out as-built demise checks against brochure.
  14. Working closely with your line manager to ensure that they are aware of all live key issues on a weekly basis.
  15. Working closely with the commercial and build teams maintaining the close collaborative team spirit already in place.
  16. Assisting with the day-to-day management of the consultant team in a positive and proactive manner.
  17. Assisting with monitoring the Project Strategic Risk Register.
  18. Provide information to secure the discharge of planning conditions to the Planning Team. Liaise with the Land & Planning team to ensure that work is prioritized and tracked.
  19. Have a positive, proactive and flexible attitude towards the unforeseen additional work and optioneering that often arises as schemes develop and evolve towards the best solutions.
  20. Undertake all required internal courses and relevant CPD promptly as well as remaining up to date on Statutory changes.
  21. Assist with managing the change processes for the project keeping up to date.
