Calibration Technician
Surrey
£29,000 per annum

Our long term successful client based in Redhill, are looking for a Calibration Technician/Assembler to join the team. Interesting and varied products and great company to work for.

Salary £29000 plus £5000 KPI Bonus - Monday - Thursday 07.30- 16.30 and Fridays 07.30-13.30pm. Pension, 22 days holiday plus B/Hols.

Responsibilities and Duties
  1. Assembling products as directed and in line with approved drawings.
  2. Ensuring all products are built to specification and meet the quality standards defined.
  3. Ability to understand simple wiring diagrams.
  4. Repairing products in line with company procedures.
  5. Calibrating products in line with company procedures.
  6. Packing products in line with company procedures.
  7. Ensuring all Health and Safety guidelines are adhered to.
  8. Undertaking both internal and external training in line with the company skills matrix requirements.
  9. Ensuring all equipment and tooling used for the work are fit for purpose.
  10. Ensuring that the MRP system (Odoo) is accurately updated.
  11. Provide input into internal audits and contribute to continuous improvement.
  12. Ensuring that all workspaces are kept tidy and manageable.
  13. Ability to support other departments on the shop floor when needed.
Requirements
  1. Educated to GCSE/NVQ level 2 and above.
  2. Experience in a Mechanical/Engineering/Production environment.
  3. Experience in drilling/tapping of metal work.
  4. Ability to interpreting technical documentation/drawings.
  5. Excellent attention to detail and maintain a high standard of work.
  6. PC literate.
  7. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Desirable
  1. Soldering experience – Through hole, basic SMD, wire to wire.
  2. Experience of working in a small to medium sized company.
  3. Experience working within a regulated industry.
  4. Experience of PCB testing & fault finding an advantage.

Package

Salary: £29,000 plus £5000 KPI Bonus
Location: Redhill, Surrey
Hours: 07.30 – 16.30 Monday to Thursday

Holiday: 22 days + bank holidays

£5000 non contractual KPI/performance related bonus. Qualify after passing probation.
EOT (Part of Employee Ownership Trust after qualifying period)
Pension: 7% on all earnings (4% employee/3% employer)
Probation: 3 months
