Professional Chemistry Tutors - GCSE and A-level

J & D UK Ltd is a tutoring and educational consulting company based in Hammersmith, London, which helps prepare students - mostly from China, Hong Kong and Singapore - for a wide variety of examinations including 11+, 13+ and 16+ school entrance assessments, GCSEs and A-levels. We support our students over the long term, often beginning from primary school and continuing up to their preparations for university. Our tutors work flexible hours according to their availability and that of our students. Lessons are mostly taught remotely via Classin, an online learning platform, however we sometimes have our London-based tutors come to our office to teach in-house.

We are currently looking for chemistry specialists with classroom experience and subject expertise who can teach chemistry KS3, GCSE and/or A-level. This is a vital core subject at GCSE and a very popular A-level choice; for this reason, our students will need the very best teachers in this subject.

The ideal candidate has:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Teaching / tutoring experience
• A strong scientific background
• Patience and motivation skills
• Excellent behaviour management and organization skills

You will need to:

• Plan and prepare lessons in accordance with students' individual needs
• Teach lessons 1:1 via Classin
• Assess and monitor pupils' work and provide lesson feedback
• Record students' progress
