Well-being Support Worker

Location: Telford
Salary: £84-£95 per day
Start Date: Monday, 28th April 2025

As a Well-being Support Worker, you'll have the rewarding opportunity to empower students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Your role will be pivotal in guiding these students through their educational journey, promoting their mental and emotional well-being, and helping them achieve personal and academic success.

What You'll Do:

  1. Support & Empower: Provide one-on-one and group support to help students build emotional resilience, develop coping strategies, and manage challenges.
  2. Collaborate & Connect: Work closely with teachers, parents, and specialized staff to design and implement individualized support plans.
  3. Encourage & Inspire: Promote positive behavior, self-confidence, and independence in a safe, nurturing environment.
  4. Safe Space: Create a supportive atmosphere where students feel secure discussing their mental health needs.

What We’re Looking For:

  2. Strong Communicator: The ability to build trust and meaningful connections with students.

  5. Relevant Experience: Background in supporting students with SEN/SEMH or in a similar well-being or educational role is highly desirable.
