Skills for Care is the strategic workforce development and planning body for adult social care in England. We work with employers, Government, and partners to ensure social care has the right people, skills, and support required to deliver the highest quality care and support now and in the future.
As a Care Workforce Pathway Delivery Lead, you will be involved in all stages of the engagement programme supporting the implementation of the Care Workforce Pathway, from definition, design, development, and delivery.
You will work with the next cohort of ‘early adopters’ (i.e., adult social care employers) of the pathway, testing tools developed with earlier cohorts and exploring approaches to implementation. You will be involved in activity that tests implementation with individual employers and personal assistants, including supporting a better understanding of the pathway in practice with this audience, and you will also test the pathway in different ‘systems’.
While working cross-organisationally with inter-dependencies from different teams and directorates, you will be first and foremost ‘team Care Workforce Pathway’. Matrixed working and collaboration will be important in this role.
