Pharmacy Advocate Technician

We Are Hiring

• Department: Pharmacy
• Schedule: 7 on/7 off; Monday - Sunday 9:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
• Hospital: UAB St. Vincent's East - Trussville
• Location: Birmingham, AL

Must be registered in Alabama.

What You Will Do

Provide distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the pharmacist.

• Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems.
• Prepare orders and maintain inventory for the pharmacy department.
• Repackage bulk medications.
• Receive and store incoming supplies.
• Serve as liaison between pharmacy, patient, and health professional by providing information as necessary.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Alabama Board of Pharmacy obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
