We are hiring worldwide for this role and welcome candidates from any location, but you must be able to work within US business hours (EST/PST) to ensure smooth collaboration with our teams and stakeholders.

The Role

We are looking for a highly skilled, hands-on Senior E-Commerce Manager to own and optimize our Shopify Plus store, ensuring seamless operations, data-driven decision-making, and continuous revenue growth. This position requires technical expertise in Shopify store management, site operations, conversion rate optimisation (CRO), and analytics. You will be responsible for store performance, product merchandising, A/B testing, technical improvements, and UX optimisation, collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure optimal user experience and sales performance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Store Management & Optimisation
    • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Shopify Plus website, ensuring site performance, security, and seamless user experience.
    • Own product catalog management, including product setup, pricing, descriptions, merchandising, and inventory accuracy.
    • Optimize site navigation, product pages, and checkout flows to drive higher conversion rates and AOV.
    • Manage on-site promotions, price adjustments, and seasonal campaign execution to maximize revenue.
    • Conduct routine audits of site performance, product data, and user experience, ensuring best practices are met.
  2. Performance & Data Analysis
    • Track and analyze key e-commerce KPIs (conversion rate, bounce rate, AOV, time on site, cart abandonment).
    • Use Google Analytics, Shopify Reports, and heat mapping tools to identify trends, friction points, and areas for improvement.
    • Conduct A/B testing on key elements like pricing, product pages, and checkout experience to drive continuous improvement.
    • Optimize pricing and promotional strategies based on weekly sales performance and customer behavior.
    • Develop and deliver regular performance reports with actionable insights for leadership.
  3. Technical Oversight & Enhancements
    • Identify and troubleshoot technical site issues, manage developers and external vendors for resolution.
    • Ensure site speed, mobile responsiveness, and SEO best practices are met.
    • Implement and maintain third-party integrations (e.g., reviews, loyalty, subscriptions).
    • Continuously evaluate and implement new e-commerce tools and technologies to improve efficiency and revenue.
    • Own the website testing roadmap, prioritizing experiments that impact revenue and user experience.
    • Conduct structured A/B tests on site layout, checkout process, CTAs, and merchandising.
    • Use data-driven insights to reduce bounce rates, increase engagement, and drive higher conversions.
    • Implement testing frameworks to monitor all site changes and mitigate risks.
    • Work closely with marketing, creative, and operations teams to align on promotions and content strategy.
    • Ensure product launches and content updates are executed flawlessly with compelling messaging and visuals.
    • Manage external partners, developers, and platform vendors to drive efficiency and site improvements.
    • Oversee junior e-commerce team members (if applicable), providing guidance and mentorship.
Who You Are
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience managing a Shopify e-commerce website (Shopify Plus required).
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using Google Analytics, Hotjar, and Shopify reporting tools.
  • Deep understanding of e-commerce UX, CRO, and technical SEO best practices.
  • Proficient in basic coding (HTML, CSS, Liquid) to troubleshoot and implement minor changes (developer-level coding not required).
  • Experience managing and optimizing third-party tools like Recharge, Klaviyo, and Yotpo.
  • Excellent project management skills, capable of handling multiple initiatives and stakeholders.
  • Commercially minded, always looking for opportunities to increase sales and improve operational efficiency.
  • You must have A/B testing experience.
  • You must have experience with structuring and organizing products on a website.
