Job description

iPeople SC Solutions is currently recruiting for an Assessment Social Worker to work for our client based in Lincoln, Lincolnshire.

Lincolnshire County Council – £35 per hour – Assessment Social Worker

Based at St Giles Family Centre

6 month position with the possibility of extension

  • Experienced Children’s Social Worker, who is confident in completing a range of assessments of children and their families, including Child and Family Assessments, Parenting Assessment and Sibling assessments, managing a range of cases, Child in Need, Child Protection, Child in Care, and cases in legal proceedings, both Public and Private Law.
  • Should also ideally have experience of undertaking Joint / Single Agency Children Act 1989 Section 47.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and have a working knowledge of the Signs of Safety.
  • The candidate will be expected to lead multi-agency plans to support children and families, and will have the benefit of working with Lincolnshire strong Early Help / Future 4 Me colleagues.
  • You will be required to be part of a weekly duty rota on a 4 weekly rotation basis; on these weeks, the candidate will be required to be office-based for all 5 days of the week. On the other three weeks, flexible work/home arrangements are in place, with an expectation that the candidate will be in the office 3 days a week, and able to work from home the other 2.
