At Sosandar, we are constantly striving to push boundaries and take our business to the next level. 2024 was a very exciting year for us as we opened up our very own bricks & mortar stores for the first time!

We are seeking a passionate Assistant Manager to join us in our Cardiff City Centre store within St David's Dei Sant shopping centre!

The role is a 6 month fixed-term contract.

About you

You’ll have experience as an Assistant Manager within a similar role, with a passion and love for fashion!

What you’ll be doing:

1. Be a brand ambassador for Sosandar, taking pride in setting and driving an exceptional customer experience.
2. Support the Store Manager in fostering an environment of passion, enthusiasm and knowledge of the brand demonstrating in depth product knowledge.
3. Assist in the management of overall operations ensuring the store runs in compliance with company policies and procedures.
4. Maintain a clear and strong brand image by creating eye catching visual merchandising and maintaining high standards.
5. Work with the Store Manager to manage and control costs and influence commercial decisions.
6. Act as an escalation point for any customer queries or concerns quickly and effectively, leaving them with a positive experience.
7. Coach and develop your team to deliver an exceptional shopping experience and maximise productivity and profitability. Lead the team with positive and regular feedback and training.
8. Be innovative and comfortable taking ownership and working with autonomy in the manager's absence.
9. Lead a team and encourage that ‘anything is possible’ attitude!

You’ll be the face of Sosandar at our new Cardiff store.

Application Process: 2x stages; 1 in person with the Store Manager and 1 over Microsoft Teams video call with the Head of Retail.
