Job description

The Longevity Actuarial Analyst meaningfully contributes in supporting the longevity team in delivering efficient in-force portfolio management, along with supporting the delivery of profitable longevity new business opportunities.

  • Location: London

Key Duties (Including but not limited to):

  • Carrying out regular in-force actuarial tasks, working with the Head of In-force and Client Managers to manage and protect our portfolio.
  • Work with other teams within the branch to ensure the smooth operation of the in-force portfolio.
  • Support and price new business tenders both for UK and non-UK opportunities.
  • Support longevity proposition and basis development for both UK and non-UK markets.
  • Supporting overall longevity strategy.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Actuarial student part way through their exams and making good progress.
  • Relevant prior experience in an actuarial role.
  • Relevant experience in the pensions industry, life insurance, or reinsurance fields desired.
  • An understanding of DB de-risking offerings in the market desired.
