Location: Oklahoma
Salary: $85,000-$100,000 + Bonus

Typical Hours: Monday – Friday, 40-45 hours

Job Description

Our client in the insurance industry is looking for a Remote Territory Manager to join their Team and oversee their Oklahoma market. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will be responsible for managing agency relationships including setting and monitoring goals, communicating consistently, and delivering superior levels of service. You’ll split your time between nurturing relationships working from your home office with the balance of your time spent on the road making in-person visits. This role focuses heavily on account management (95%), so a well-spoken, personable demeanor is a must to ensure their existing clientele is well taken care of. After all, you’ll be taking over for their current Territory Manager who has created a loyal account base during her last 25 years with the company. To ensure a seamless transition, you must be well-versed in insurance terminology and policy issuance within commercial property and casualty lines of business. Responsibilities

  1. Identify new agencies in territory to contact
  2. Collaborate to determine contracted agency eligibility
  3. Report findings and meeting results timely and consistently
  4. Evaluate and maintain contact with agents and underwriters
  5. Assist agents to help build profitable book of business
  6. Assist underwriting and brokers as needed
  7. Conduct in-person meetings and conference calls with agency contacts
  8. Maintain a log of contacts including owners, producers, and support staff
  9. Discuss your agency plan and call objectives with VP of Marketing
  10. Perform special projects as assigned

Qualifications

  1. 2+ years commercial insurance experience required
  2. Comfortable in a technology forward environment required
  3. 50% local travel required within the region (minimal overnights)
