Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, maintaining, repairing and upgrading our bespoke industrial dampers at client sites in the UK and worldwide. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical abilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

This role is based at our manufacturing facility in Eastwood, Nottingham, with regular domestic and international travel.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or Field Service Engineer in a mechanical engineering / industrial fabricated packaged equipment environment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles, pneumatic actuation and control systems, and some basic electrical knowledge.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while travelling to various locations.
• A valid driving licence is required for travel between client sites.
• Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations and industrial site protocols including risk assessments, method statements and permits to work.
• A valid BOSIET qualification or some experience of working on offshore assets would be advantageous.
