Required Skills & Experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience: 3+ years in an IT Systems Administrator role.
Technical Expertise:
Proficiency in Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) and Google Workspace.
Linux/Unix administration experience.
Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Citrix, Hyper-V).
Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Soft Skills:
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Bonus: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Key Responsibilities
System Administration
Manage and maintain physical and virtual servers.
Oversee user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
Implement system backups and disaster recovery plans.
Ensure system security with regular updates, patches, and audits.
Network Management
Maintain and optimize network devices, including firewalls, routers, and switches (Fortinet experience is a plus).
Monitor and troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues.
Implement security measures to protect the network.
End-User Support
Provide hands-on support for hardware, software, and network issues.
Install and configure workstations and peripherals.
Resolve technical issues efficiently and document solutions.
IT Documentation & Innovation
Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems and procedures.
Create and update a knowledge base for common technical issues.
Research and recommend new technologies and solutions.
Participate in IT projects and stay updated on industry best practices.
