IAM Consultant

Location: London

Salary: Up to £60k with 3 years' experience

Are you passionate about Identity & Access Management (IAM) and looking to take the next step in your career? This role offers the opportunity to lead IAM initiatives, work on high-impact security projects, and help organisations navigate the challenges of digital identity management.

About the Role

As an IAM Assistant Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering innovative security solutions. Your work will range from developing IAM strategies and reviewing security controls to leading large-scale IAM transformations. You’ll collaborate with clients to ensure their IAM frameworks are robust, compliant, and future-proof.

What You’ll Do

1. Oversee IAM project workstreams, from planning to execution.
2. Advise clients on IAM best practices, controls, and risk management.
3. Design and implement strategies, roadmaps, and governance models for IAM programs.
4. Integrate leading IAM technologies with client IT systems.
5. Communicate complex security concepts in a clear and practical way.

What You’ll Bring

1. Hands-on experience with IAM strategy, design, and implementation.
2. Strong track record in delivering IAM projects and managing stakeholder expectations.
3. Expertise in one or more IAM platforms: SailPoint, CyberArk, One Identity, Okta, BeyondTrust, Microsoft Entra ID.
4. Ability to analyse user data and design scalable identity solutions.
5. Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Bonus Points for:

1. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word (Visio & SQL are a plus).
