Architect

GBR Recruitment are delighted to be working in exclusive partnership with a well-established & highly progressive modern Construction business, recruiting for an experienced Architect (RIBA / ARB) to join the Architectural / Design team, leading the pre-construction & construction planning, leading the end-to-end Architectural design elements of the project/s & generally overseeing the construction of a variety of buildings, across anything from commercial offices, healthcare units, education facilities, industrial, leisure, sports & much more.

You will be based out of our client's East Midlands head office which is commutable from Nottingham, Leicester, Northampton & parts of Derby.

Architects Daily Duties:

1. Preparing detailed architectural drawings using REVIT.
2. Obtaining planning permission from local authorities, plus any other 3rd parties.
3. Leading the pre-construction & construction planning, leading the end-to-end Architectural design elements of the project/s & generally overseeing the construction of a variety of buildings, ensuring the construction works meet the clients' exacting needs.
4. Managing the full scope of all allocated building projects.
5. Carrying out on-site visits to review & monitor all building phases progress.
6. Work with the end-using client to consider the building's impact on the surrounding area, the environment & other key factors.
7. Liaising / consulting face to face with clients, consultants & stakeholders.
8. Manage project budgets, fees & build timelines effectively & efficiently.
9. Support & lead team members / other disciplines.

Architects Attributes:

1. RIBA Part 3 qualified.
2. Time-served in an Architect role working across varying building works.
3. Strong understanding of UK building regulations.
4. Familiarity with BIM & understanding of the RIBA stages.
5. Full UK driving licence.
6. Proficiency with AutoCAD software & Revit.
7. Experience with Chorus is useful.
8. Registered on RIBA & ARB.
