What we're looking for:

Qualified accountant with NetSuite experience to manage a dynamic team through the 'day to day' finance tasks (including month end procedures) as well as other corporate governance and compliance.

This is a 12 month role (approx) - to start in May 2025.

Responsibilities of the role include:

1. Business and Financial Reporting - Leading and co-ordinating the month end process and preparing required financial statements.
2. Corporate Compliance, Tax and Governance - Preparation of annual accounts and management of audit process, preparation and submission of tax returns (VAT, PSA, Corporation Tax, R&D etc).
3. Cash Management - Overseeing payment runs and ForEx management to pay suppliers, treasury management to include forward FX contracts.
4. External Stakeholders and System Management - Managing relationships with external stakeholders including system support organisations (NetSuite), payroll and insurance.
5. Team Management - Contribute to quarterly KPI setting, leading and developing team of 2 and having weekly 121s on their performance.

Who you are:

1. A Qualified accountant with significant experience in industry.
2. Experience in leading the year end close, preparation of annual accounts and the end to end audit process (preparation or review).
3. Not afraid to get stuck into detail and problem solving in a fast paced environment.
4. Efficient in Microsoft (particularly Excel and OneDrive), experience in Banking systems and using 2FA and password protection software.

Even better if you are:

1. Someone with great NetSuite experience and knowledge.
2. Have experience in the FMCG industry.
