Job description

Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for a LMR Project Planner. This position will be located in Sumter, SC and will be an onsite position.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expertise on system modernization project management for microwave transmission systems, antenna systems, land mobile radio systems and outdoor mass notifications systems (e.g., Giant Voice). Provide analysis of the deployment and operation of these systems into the CENTCOM AOR.
  • Assist in the analysis and management of AFCENT Enterprise programs supporting Air Force Trunked Land Mobile Radio, conventional Land Mobile Radio, Microwave line of site, outdoor mass notification systems, and future Air Force technology employed into CENTCOM’s AOR.
  • Assist with management of teams at different organizational levels to include resolving conflicts, communicating process and procedures, and enhancing understanding of radio communication systems.
Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's with 5 - 8 years (or commensurate experience)
  • PMP/equivalent certification accepted in lieu of degree
  • Clearance Required: SECRET
  • Minimum of eight years’ experience with the technical and analytical aspects associated with management, configuration, and operation of fixed and mobile VHF/UHF communications equipment. Equipment/skills desired as follows: Giant voice theory, Motorola Trunked LMR system 7.11 or above and Cambium PTP600 or above
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Top Secret clearance
  • PMP

Posted Salary Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process.
