Read Easy Derby & District is a registered charity (1202775), established in 2021, dedicated to helping adults improve their reading skills in Derbyshire. Our team of volunteers provides free, confidential, face-to-face coaching to adults in need. We are actively coaching upwards of 20 adults across Derby and the Amber Valley to make a positive difference.

Role Description

This is a volunteer part-time role for a Treasurer. The Treasurer will be responsible for the operation of the Group's online bank account, budgeting and financial reporting, and for ensuring compliance with Charity Commission reporting requirements.

• Budgeting and Accounting skills
• Appreciation of financial regulations, reporting and compliance requirements
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
