Our client are specialists in their market sector, they are looking to recruit a CNC Miller on a permanent basis.

If you can program, set and operate a Siemens controlled CNC Milling machine this role could be ideal for you.

The Job you'll do

1. Set up and operate CNC milling machines with Siemens control systems.
2. Interpret and work from engineering drawings and CAD models to produce components to specified tolerances.
3. Program CNC machines using Siemens controls, ensuring optimal efficiency and precision.
4. Utilise offline programming software, such as Alphacam, to prepare CNC programs and optimise machining processes.
5. Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any technical issues.
6. Conduct first-off inspection and verify the accuracy of machined parts using precision measurement tools.
7. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure all components meet strict quality standards.
8. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
9. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, providing feedback and suggestions to enhance machining processes and efficiencies.

About you:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Miller in a manufacturing environment.
2. Proficiency in programming and operating CNC machines with Siemens controls.
3. Experience with offline programming, particularly using Alphacam, is highly advantageous.
4. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models.
5. Experience with precision measurement tools and inspection techniques.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Strong organizational and time management skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
