Home Care Support Worker - Southampton (Female only*)

We currently have roles for individuals who like to work alone or as part of a double up team.

Day shifts are available Monday to Sunday across Central, East, and West Southampton, including 07:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00. Additionally, long day shifts run from 07:00 to 22:00, with a two-hour break from 14:00 to 16:00.

Requirements:
Given the nature of the role, candidates must hold a full, valid and clean driving licence, have access to their own motorised transport, and possess a business insurance policy.

About the Role

A Support Worker’s role can be wide and varied, and no two days are the same – but here’s an idea of what you could be doing:

1. Promoting and encouraging independence, while assisting the people we support with their daily routines.
2. Identifying new opportunities for integration, participation and inclusion, available to the people we support, both within our services and the community.
3. Providing quality personal care, which could include bathing, toileting, etc., depending on individual needs, while maintaining respect and sensitivity.
4. Participating in household tasks, which include cleaning, cooking, ironing, washing, etc., while encouraging the people we support to join in.
5. Engaging in conversation and sometimes having a belly laugh together over something silly!
