We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to work for our client based in Gainsborough.

Warehouse Operative

Location: Gainsborough, DN21
Contract: Temp to Permanent
Rate of pay: £12.50 per hour - rate increases once taken on permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5pm

Warehouse Operative Duties:

Working in the Warehouse
Replenishing the Warehouse as and when required, ensuring stock is always available for picking
Moving pallets
Manual handling
Ensure all pallets, cages and stillages are secure in accordance with Health & Safety regulations
Locate products and rotate stock effectively
Comfortable with using a range of warehouse related equipment
Unloading inbound shipments safely and moving pallets onto HGV vehicles and trailers or to the warehouse
Daily, pre-use safety inspections of forklift trucks and, if necessary, report any issues found

Warehouse Operative Criteria:

Previous experience in a warehouse environment is essential - you will not be shortlisted if you do not have relevant previous experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Approachable and professional
FLT Counterbalance Licence essential (ideally external and in date but may consider in-house)
Must have a full UK driving licence and use of a car to visit another company site - essential
Health and safety aware
Able to use warehouse equipment
Excellent attention to detail
Hardworking and reliable
