Job description

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a national 5-star house builder from their South West region. They are in a very strong position considering the recent market, and have new phases and sites due to start throughout 2025. They now seek a site manager to join the business on a full-time basis. This particular site will be based near Truro, Cornwall and will be a new site. The role is to start asap and the salary on offer ranges between £65k-£75k p/a + package DOE.


You will be employed as a site manager on a permanent basis. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  1. Managing trades
  2. Managing programmes
  3. Working closely with an assistant
  4. Ensuring everything is to budget
  5. Chairing internal and external meetings
  6. Completions and CML's
  7. Snagging
  8. Toolbox/induction talks
  9. Ensuring health and safety is a high priority across the site

You must have a proven record of working successfully on large volume sites with other house developers. They are looking for somebody with a minimum of 5 years' experience, who is a strong leader, has good communication skills, and is IT proficient. You must have SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid all in date to be considered for this role. You must be proactive, hardworking, a problem solver, and somebody who is out on site pushing it along. They want somebody who takes pride in what they build and who wants a long-term career of progression.
