A market leading, multi-strategy Hedge Fund is looking to hire a Front Office aligned Fixed Income Trading Strategist to bolster their rapidly expanding Fixed Income business.
The successful candidate will work on the trading floor to assist a number of Fixed Income Portfolio Managers, along with working closely with the wider business to oversee the end-to-end creation of trading strategies and investment models to deliver actionable insights to the PMs. This role gives access to senior stakeholders in both the investment and non-investment side of the business.
Due to this visibility, the role offers the opportunity for significant progression potential across a number of different pathways within the business, from risk taking to quantitative research-based seats.
The ideal candidate will have an excellent, STEM focused academic background, with prior relevant buy-side experience in research or trading strategy development, with a focus on Fixed Income products. Coding skills are a pre-requisite.
The role offers a strong base salary range (£120-140k) and a bonus that will derive directly from the PnL pool, giving the hire the opportunity to realise an uncapped total compensation that reflects their own performance and that of the traders they support.
