About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Lecturer to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, engaging mathematics lessons to students, helping them build strong mathematical skills and achieve their academic and professional goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver high-quality teaching in Mathematics to students of varying abilities.
  2. Plan, prepare, and assess lesson plans, assignments, and exams to ensure students' success.
  3. Provide academic and pastoral support to students, fostering a positive and motivating learning environment.
  4. Contribute to curriculum development and review to ensure courses are aligned with industry and academic standards.
  5. Promote the importance of mathematics in various fields and encourage student interest in the subject.

Essential Requirements:

  1. A degree in Mathematics or a related field (or equivalent).
  2. Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd) or a commitment to obtaining one.
  3. Experience in teaching mathematics, preferably within further education.
  4. Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts and applications.
  5. Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
