Job description

To increase company profitability by providing Inventory control to provide on time and quality products to customers, meeting production requirements and maintaining a safe workplace.

Authority to take photographs and video within Multimatic. Usage of photos is restricted to internal use only and/or sending externally as part of Job-related correspondence.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the Stores and Logistics team to organise an accurate, efficient, and safe storage and shipping of project inventory.
  2. Receive and process all deliveries following agreed and written procedures.
  3. Distribute deliveries to appropriate people/departments/projects.
  4. Ensure correct part identification of all incoming inventory.
  5. Monitor and log all stock movements.
  6. Manage consumables stock and reorder as required.
  7. Process parts in ERP system (IMS/SAP).
  8. Participate with the quality department to manage incoming goods inspection and quarantining of goods.
  9. Participate with material control to manage shipments and resolve supply issues.
  10. Raise delivery notes and arrange shipments to customers as required.
  11. Support the accounts team to quickly solve invoice queries and provide relevant backup.
  12. Support all company and department activities associated with meeting the goal in the “Presidents Message”.
  13. Adopt and practice Kaizen principles and concepts, participate in continuous improvement and GEAR activities.
  14. Follow all general procedures as indicated in the General Procedures section of the Level 2 and 3 Procedures Manual.
  15. Support and adhere to policies, procedures, and operational guidelines related to established quality management systems (e.g. IATF16949, ISO 9001).
  16. Maintain working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner.
  17. Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Basic Requirements:
  1. Experience influencing and driving a motivated dynamic team in a project environment is advantageous but not essential.
  2. High level of communication skills required to communicate effectively to all levels of the business.
  3. Comprehensive IT skills, Excel experience is essential and SAP experience is an advantage.
  4. Previous warehouse and shipping experience highly desired.
  5. Experience of compliance and improvement.
  6. A good standard of English is required, be able to read, write & speak English.
  7. Willingness to learn new skills and desire for personal development.
  8. Proactive approach to work, eye for detail and a big focus on Quality.
  9. Punctual and flexible approach.
  10. Strong team player with self-motivation.
