Position Description

There will be an initial on-site induction period in Chippenham, with the flexibility for remote working thereafter.

Your future duties and responsibilities

This is a growing area and an exciting time to be involved in location-based software development. With Geo becoming more and more important in modern life, you'll not only have the opportunity to make your mark in a rapidly expanding sector but also the opportunity to work on CGI's own IP in this space.

Key Duties:

1. Design, code, integrate, test and deploy software as part of a team
2. Monitor team progress against goals and proactively support other members
3. Communicate solutions
4. Provide leadership and guidance within a self-managing software engineering team
5. Identify and fix bugs within the codebase, assisting others with more complex bugs

Essential Skills:

• ArcGIS Enterprise
• .NET Core
• JavaScript, CSS
• Dojo / React
• Agile methodology

Desirable:

• ArcGIS Pro
• DevOps (Azure / AWS)
• OpenLayers / Leaflet
• QGIS
• PostgreSQL / PostGIS

All applicants must hold or be prepared to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV) to Security Check (SC) and NPPV3 level.
