Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Sunderland, Tyne & Wear
Salary/Benefits: £25k - £42k + Training & Benefits

Our client is a well-established Environmental outfit, with a strong presence in the North East of England. You will be servicing a mix of commercial, local authority and public sector sites, undertaking the full range of asbestos surveys and writing accompanying reports to reflect findings. As well as excellent salaries, they are offering great further training and overtime opportunities.

You will be travelling predominantly between: Sunderland, Seaham, Newcastle upon Tyne, Gateshead, Washington, South Shields, Whiteley Bay, Blyth, Ashington, Prudhoe, Hexham, Houghton le Spring, Durham, Spennymoor, Hartlepool, Bishop Auckland, Consett, Newton Aycliffe, Darlington, Yarm, Middlesborough, Redcar.

Experience / Qualifications:

1. Will have experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor within a UKAS accredited organisation
2. Will hold P402 (BOHS), or RSPH equivalent
3. Strong knowledge of UKAS and HSG 264 guidelines
4. Competent with using IT applications, such as: TEAMS
5. Able to write thorough reports for clients, including floor plans
6. Good time-keeping skills

The Role:

1. You will be conducting Management, Refurbishment and Demolition asbestos surveys
2. Writing detailed survey reports, outlining findings and recommendations
3. Sampling of ACMs from site and transporting to the laboratory for testing
4. Completing re-inspections
5. Meeting with clients on site to discuss findings and answer queries
6. Travelling as per company requirements
