The Global Selling team in China is responsible for recruiting local businesses to sell on Amazon’s 20 overseas stores, and supporting local sellers’ success and growth on Amazon. In our effort to support this aggressive growth around the world, we are looking for a passionate Business Intelligence Manager to dive deep, use in-depth analytical methods to turn data into actionable insights, and support answers to top strategic business questions. In this role, you will be working in one of the world's largest and most complex data warehouse environments. You should be passionate about working with complex datasets and be someone who loves to dive deep, analyze and turn data into insights. You should have deep expertise in the analytic view of business questions, building up & refining metrics framework to measure business operation and translating data into meaningful insights. In this role, you will have ownership of end-to-end analytics development to complex questions and you’ll play an integral role in strategic decision making. You should have excellent business and communication skills to be able to work with business owners to understand business challenges & opportunities, and to drive data-driven decision into process & tool improvement together with the business team. Above all, you should be passionate about how insights can be used to improve both the Customer and Seller experience of selling across borders.
- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
