Group Tax Manager

Our client is seeking a Group Tax Manager to join their dynamic team. This role, based in London, offers the opportunity to work within the EMEA and APAC Tax team. The ideal candidate will have a detailed understanding of accounting, current and deferred tax, and applicable generally accepted accounting principles. This position is perfect for those looking to develop and broaden their experience in a complex and fast-paced international group.

What you'll do:

• Manage compliance and reporting obligations for EMEA, APAC, and some UK entities.
• Oversee the outsourced corporation tax returns submission process for EMEA, APAC, and UK.
• Liaise with HMRC, external auditors, advisors, CFO’s, and management teams both in the UK and overseas.
• Monitor Effective Tax Rates and report to the US Tax team.
• Manage shared services centre resource based in India.
• Assess tax impacts of reorganisations, acquisitions, disposals, and compliance for a highly complex group.

What you bring:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in tax reporting.
• Ability to work around problems quickly.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• ACA, ACCA, CTA or ATT qualified.
• Financial services (banking, other brokerages, private equity) experience is an advantage.
