Are you looking to become an accountant within an Accountancy Practice? This is a great opportunity for you!

We are currently seeking to appoint a Trainee Accountant in a practice with 10 employees and a family feel environment. The company offers a great study package, including a full 10 weeks paid study leave a year to obtain the ACA qualification.

Trainee Accountant Duties:

1. Preparing financials
2. Auditing financial statements
3. Corporate tax compliance work (including preparation of tax computations, tax returns, and computation of liabilities) and preparation of VAT returns
4. Developing an understanding of the practical issues involved in delivering a high-quality service to clients
5. Assignments will be undertaken both in the office and at client's premises, involving a mixture of teamwork and individual projects

The Successful Applicant:

1. Must have a 2:1 or above in Maths, Business, Accountancy & Finance, or Economics
2. Analytical and methodical approach to work, applying common sense and technical skills to different assignments
3. Highly organised and able to prioritise work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
4. Good interpersonal skills
5. Self-motivated and disciplined with the ability to work unsupervised
6. Good team player
7. Strong Microsoft skills with a very good understanding of Excel

1. £16,000.00 Salary with Full ACA study support
