Are you a Qualified Maintenance Electrician looking for a role in the Wiltshire area? Do you want to work on Planned and Reactive Maintenance jobs while also handling some small installation works? This role could be for you.

This Facilities Services Provider has recently opened an office in Trowbridge and is recruiting for a Mobile Maintenance Electrician to cover Planned, Reactive, and Minor Electrical works across a portfolio of commercial buildings, including Schools, Offices, and smaller buildings.

As a Mobile Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for:

1. Planned Maintenance such as Emergency Light and Fire Alarm testing.
2. Reactive Maintenance such as lighting and power fault finding and repairs.
3. Remedial works such as replacing lights, lamps, pumps, and motors, as well as 2nd fix tasks like replacing sockets and switches.

It will also be advantageous if you have some Mechanical experience, such as HVAC, AHUs, FCUs, and general PPMs in Plant rooms.

Key Responsibilities Will Include:

1. Carrying out Reactive and emergency breakdown tasks and completing the associated paperwork.
2. Being on a call-out rota to provide the client with full out-of-hours cover.
3. Overseeing visiting sub-contractors regarding the standard of work and Health and Safety.
4. Adopting a flexible attitude in relation to assisting on other properties within the portfolio.
5. Carrying out all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
6. Understanding and completing all work-related documentation accurately and on time.
7. Carrying out work safely and diligently.
8. Complying with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.

Applicants For The Role Must Possess The Following:

1. Fully qualified Electrician.
2. 17th Edition or 18th Edition certification.
3. HVAC Experience.
4. Mechanical / Plant room experience.
5. Testing and Inspection (Desirable).
6. Experience working within commercial environments.
7. Excellent communication skills.
8. Driving License.
