Position:Warehouse Operative
Location:Belfast, BT3
Shift Times: 6pm-2am (Nights) Monday PM until Saturday AM
Weekly hours: 37.5 hours per week
Rate of Pay: £12.21 basic rate plus unsociable hours and night shift allowance
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in assembling orders accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for picking products as per the instructions provided in the pick note, ensuring that all operations comply with our strict SOP guidelines. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will help us maintain the integrity of our distribution processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately pick products from the pick note using a handheld scanner.
Move between stations as required to fulfil orders effectively.
Handle exceptions (e.g., oversized stock, empty locations) by directing them to the proper location.
Exercise special care to prevent damage; report any damages immediately to the team leader or line supervisor.
Identify and report any pick face errors without delay.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all housekeeping procedures.
Always wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and meet health and safety requirements.
Carry out reasonable requests as determined by Service Centre Management.
