Deputy Manager (Children's Residential)

This Deputy Manager role offers a competitive salary of up to £37,000, along with a £1000 signing-on fee. You'll also benefit from a personalised development plan to promote internal progression and opportunities to complete diplomas in Residential Childcare.

Responsibilities:

1. Autonomy for your own home
2. Managing and developing your staff team, placement requests, and rotas
3. Leading a team on a day-to-day basis
4. Making decisions in line with policy and procedures
5. Ensuring documentation is complete and up-to-date
6. Promoting therapeutic practice within the home
7. Being a positive role model for the children
8. Reporting to the Registered Manager

Minimum Requirements:

The ideal Deputy Manager candidate will have:

1. Experience as a Senior Residential Support Worker or Deputy Manager in a children's residential home
2. Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Care
3. UK Driving Licence (willing to commute)
4. (Preferred) Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management in Residential Care
