Pharmacist x4 required - Private Healthcare service - Essex

Are you a Pharmacist looking for a rewarding locum role in Harlow? We have X4 exciting opportunities available with great pay and flexibility for Pharmacists based in Essex, with a large private organisation! This is an office based role where no prior hospital experience is required.

Job Title:

Locum Pharmacist (x4 required!!)

Location:

Harlow, Essex - Private healthcare service

Duration:

3 months initially (may extend)

Schedule:

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8:00am - 4:00pm or 9:00am - 5:00pm, flexible)

Start Date:

As soon as possible (ideally end of February)

End Date:

3 months initially (may extend by 1-2 months)

Rate of Pay:

£23 - £30 per hour (via Umbrella)

What You'll Be Doing:

Join the team as a Locum Pharmacist and play a key role in supporting a busy private healthcare environment. In this role, you will:

1. Perform clinical checks on prescriptions and review patient records
2. Office based role, on site
3. Work with biologic treatments and rheumatology patients
4. Approve prescriptions following SOPs
5. Support with catching up on outstanding work during a busy period

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. Experience in hospital or community pharmacy settings
2. Ideally, TPN screening experience (preferred but not essential)
3. Strong communication and attention to detail
4. Newly qualified pharmacists with NHS pre-reg experience are welcome to apply

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers a flexible working position requiring availability Monday to Friday. The contract is for 3 months initially, with the potential for extension based on performance and service needs.
