Business Development Manager / Buyer – Metal Recycling – Wigan

Salary: Fully Negotiable based on tonnage delivery / sales performance

EXPERIENCED SCRAP METAL TRADER / BUYER WITH EXPERIENCE IN FERROUS METAL RECYCLING OR TOTAL WASTE MANAGEMENT REQUIRED TO COVER THE NORTHWEST.

TITLE: Metals Buyer / Business Development Manager – Ferrous Metal Recycling

LOCATION: Covering the Northwest; location within that area is flexible.

ROLE: You will utilize your existing contacts to purchase mainly ferrous metals and prospect for new sources of material such as factory closures. You will travel across the region targeting the industrial/manufacturing/factory sector.

EXPERIENCE: You MUST have experience in buying Ferrous or Non-Ferrous metals or selling large value waste management services contracts to industrial/manufacturing/factory type clients which incorporate metal recycling services. You will be from a new business background and ideally understand metals grading. You must have a UK driving licence.

YOU WILL HAVE WORKED IN THE WASTE SECTOR AS A: Ferrous Metals Trader, Scrap Metals Buyer, Total Waste Management Business Development Manager, Metals Recycling Regional Sales Manager, Commercial Manager.
